Camille Wiehe

Camille is a licensed physiotherapist from Lille, France. She worked for over a year in Reunion Island after graduating before moving to Mauritius in 2018. Consulting for a wide range of pathologies, Camille used to help, within an NGO, children facing difficulties. She is dedicated to assisting people of all ages and dealing with various health conditions. In addition to general physiotherapy, Camille is passionate about women’s health. She is trained in feminine perineal rehabilitation, sexual disorders, and recently, breastfeeding!

Since 2024, she took the coordination of the centre.

Camille consults on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

My areas of expertise !

General physiotherapy: 

• Rehabilitation from acute to chronic disorders, including sprains, strains, arthritis, back pain, neck
pain, sport and workplace injuries, and tendon injuries.
• Rehabilitation from surgery (total knee/hip replacements, post fractures and ligament/tendon reconstructions).
• Rehabilitation from stroke, acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and cerebral palsy, to progressive conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis. This applies for all age groups, from early childhood to the elderly population.
• Pediatric respiratory physiotherapy
• Lymphatic massage

Pelvic floor rehabilitation:

• Urgency urinary incontinence, stress incontinence, and mixed incontinence.
• Sexual disorders: pain during intercourse, dyspareunia, vulvodynia, vaginismus.
• Pelvic organ prolapses addressing the descent of pelvic organs causing discomfort or pressure.
• Pre- and post-natal care: aiding women in pelvic health during and after pregnancy, including recovery from childbirth.
• Chronic pelvic pain: addressing persistent pain in the pelvic region, often stemming from various causes.
• Bowel dysfunction: managing issues such as constipation or fecal incontinence related to pelvic floor dysfunction.
• Post-surgery rehabilitation: aiding recovery following pelvic surgeries such as hysterectomy. This rehabilitation focuses on addressing and treating issues related to the pelvic floor, aiming to
alleviate symptoms and improve overall pelvic health.


• Assessment and assistance for proper latch.
• Various advice for maternal concerns related to breastfeeding.
• Guidance on managing engorgement, blockages, mastitis, hypolactation, and hyperlactation.
• Addressing musculoskeletal issues that may disrupt breastfeeding: discomfort in the baby or mother.
• Evaluation and treatment of ankyloglossia (like tongue tie) to facilitate breastfeeding.
