I’m a massage therapist. I’m specialized in Thai Yoga massage, which I have chosen to practice in the hope of helping others get healthier.
Thai yoga massage improves the immune system, allowing fast recovery and preventing muscles from injuries. Additionally, it decreases stress hormones levels such as cortisol and increases endorphins like adrenaline, serotonin and dopamine. These chemicals work together to make the patient feel good; happy and relaxed.
In Thailand, Thai Yoga massage has been used to treat hospital patients for centuries. Nowadays, its benefits are starting to reach the West, both at the doctors’ and at the patients’ levels, with people from all four corners of the world choosing to incorporate Thai Yoga massage treatments in their daily lives.
I have been performing as a therapist for almost ten years, the first three of which I spent within the Beachcomber Group. I then moved on to the Royal Palm Hotel, where I worked as a trainee for a while before being employed at Le Paradis Hotel and Golf Club as fulltime therapist/ beautician, offering occasional hair dressing services. I also spent some time as a Spa Manager for Le SARL Thai Traditional Spa in Rennes, France, before relocating to Mauritius to join the CARE team here at Le Domaine de Labourdonnais.
